I was looking at your Web site trying to figure out how to contact you to ask if you would consider supporting our upcoming Black Star Dawn Patrol event when I came across your Donation Policy page. I just want to commend you on your policy and the noble cause you’ve adopted for 2014. I know you’re a relatively small business and can’t respond to all the requests you get for donations. I think you’ve come up with a terrific way to manage those requests while, at the same time, making sure the proceeds from the donations go to worthy causes.
I wish you all the best in your support of the Wounded Warrior Project.

RE: NCRCC’s Warbird’s Over Ellington R/C Fly-in
As previously discussed and scheduled, Northern CT R/C CLUB held its 2nd Annual Warbirds Fly-In on Sept. 27th and 28th, 2014 at our Ellington Connecticut model aircraft flying site. I couldn’t have asked for more perfect weather for the event and for flying Radio controlled model aircraft. On Saturday I had 22 registered pilots and on Sunday I had 14 pilots who, totally enjoyed both days, and flew their aircraft with pride and put on a great show for the spectators
Northern CT. R/C Club (NCRCC), and myself, are greatly appreciative of your donation of the Ultimate Flight Stand for the event raffle to benefit the WOUNDED WARRIORS PROJECT. The person who won it saw it on the display table and said I WANT THAT, and low and behold he won it.
I was totally overwhelmed by the generosity from you and all the area hobby shops, model manufacturers, distributors and local restaurants. The raffle’s was the highlight of the weekend. It could not have been as successful without your help.
With your help and generosity, we were able to raise $1010.00 dollars thru the raffle ticket sales and donations, which will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project to benefit our wounded men and women in military service to this great country.
I wish to extend a heart-felt “Thank You”, to you and all your staff on behalf of the NCRCC membership, the event attendees, my 2 co-cd’s and myself, for your support and assistance in promoting the Fly-In, and the R/C hobby.
Plans are already being formulated for next year to run the fly-in as a one day event. Plans are for the event to be held on Saturday with Sunday as the rain date.
I hope I can count on your support and generosity again when the date is set and it gets closer to next year’s Warbird Fly-In.

I wanted to send this email as a followup to thank you once again for your donation to NASA, and your support of the NASA Scale Classic.
Attached to this email is the September/October issue of the Replica. In it I’ve written a wrap-up of the event. We didn’t have the best weather – actually it was pretty crappy. But, we did have the event, we did have around 40 entries, and we did have a great time.

RE: Wings For Wishes V
Pictured is Brian Lapenski, winner of the glue caddies and bench stand donated by Precision-Aero. Ron was kind enough to donate these items to Wings For Wishes Over Montana that made over $3,000 to give to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Montana. Thank you for being a part of this great fund raiser J

Here are the photos of the two winners of the Glue Caddy’s. Unfortunately I
don’t have their names for you. Also there is a composite photo of all the winners. The event was a great one. Our field parking lot was overfilled where we had to park them on the road. Local Press coverage before and after
the event spurred an interest from the community and they came out in droves!! At one point we had over 300 spectators and pilots on the field and over 100 planes.
As hoped, the event is growing in popularity. I want to keep it growing!
This event and its supporters like you that donate merchandise helps make the event fun for the pilots and spectators. My chosen charity is the Wounded Warrior Project. We made over $1300 for them this year. I hope to exceed that next year. I hope I can count on you again for a donation for the event. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate it.
It is scheduled for Sept 24th 2016
